No Longer Alone

As soon as he's seen her he'd known, without a shadow of a doubt, that she was his. The chocolate coat adorned with swirling gold was entirely his, and the blonde mane and golden hooves could easily be seen as his own too. She had his tall build, and her tiny feet were already showing the inheriting his thick feather. The speckled star markings, however, were entirely her mothers, as was the sparkling aura that was wove around her, as a part of her as the pair of long-lashed cornflower eyes that filled with trust when she looked at him.

In her he’d found the purpose that he had never realised that he had been missing, discovered a well of love in him he never thought possible. While, as he’d promised himself, he had never forgotten that magical night over a year ago, what had come out of it was even more amazing; somebody who would always look to him for guidance, care and love, who would see past his faults and never judge him, a treasure to cherish for all of time. He was filled with the fierce urge to protect and shelter, felt the promise of eternal, unconditional love, and his heart swelled.

When Stella had first asked him to take her with him, he had baulked. A life like his was not suitable for a small foal, fraught with danger and uncertainty, never knowing where he would rest his head at night or what could be around the next bend. How could he risk his daughter with that? But that word; ‘daughter’, had stopped him. One look in those wide sapphire eyes had had him hooked, and that first rush of emotion that accompanied it had taken his breath away, he’d known there was no way on this earth he could have walked away alone. So he hadn’t. He had taken her with him, and every time he looked in those eyes and felt that cascade of feelings catch in his throat, he knew he’d made the right decision.


This is my other new baby !!! She is the daughter of ~Echoras's Stella and my Calibre, and her name is Genevieve, Evie for short .

Well autumn is rolling in here, so I thought I'd havea go at an autumn background.... I was a bit lazy but I'm tired and I have prizes and requests to finish
