My half of a trade with :iconyelirx: - her OC Alyra

Well coursework is in, so it's time to work on my art :D

This is totally not how I planned for this to turn out ^^;. I had Alyra all drawn out and coloured, just with no background, and when I got home and sat down with my tablet after a week of doing no art, I just had a strange urge to draw a sunrise.... I don't know whether or not I like the sky in the end, but its certainly colourful :giggle:.
Fullsize, this thing is massive, it's something like 3300 by 2300 I think :XD:

The closest thing I can imagine to the thrill of being on a horse that is clearing big fences at speed is zooming down an icy mountain slope on skis :giggle:

This is so beautiful! :wow: I love the sunrise, the colours are so bright and gorgeous. Alyra looks so pretty too. I love her shading. This is really beautiful.
