Giftart for the lovely and generous
Dawn was coming to the plateau, painting the sky with great strokes of crimson, orange and yellow like a giant painting. The mare raised her head to watch the flaming sun rise over the mountain range beyond her. A soft breeze stirred the blue ribbons tied in her creamy mane and tail, as her gentle brown eyes scanned the sky, searching for that figure that could cause make her heart to warm. She had spent the last day and night on this sheltered shelf in the peaks, cropping on the sweet grass encrusted with beads of dew, waiting. Then, suddenly, silhouetted against the morning sky, she saw him, wheeling, searching for her. She cried out to the skies, calling to him, spreading her joy. Wheeling round, she pushed her golden body into a gallop, graceful as a dancer despite her build. Reaching the edge, she spread her wide wings and took flight, feeling the air ripple her feathers and sweep back her mane. Her spirits soared, her heart sang. It was time to join her RhYthm. This is the gorgeous RhYme, hope I drew her something like she should look, *PearlyPony And I think I've finally started to crack wings RhYthm (c) Art (c) Me |

I like doing my little stories with my pictures, and the 'graceful as a dancer...' bit is one of my favourite lines too
Thank you

The closest thing I can imagine to the thrill of being on a horse that is clearing big fences at speed is zooming down an icy mountain slope on skis

I purposely did a dawn sky so that the reds, oranges and yellows would look good against her golden coat
